At New Holland Toyota, we know that drivers from Lancaster to Reading, PA prefer our topnotch collection of new Toyota SUVs over similar models from competing brands, and for good reason. For example, we took a closer look at our Toyota Highlander model next to similar models, and we've come up with a variety of ways that our three-row, family-friendly model comes out ahead.
See how the popular Toyota Highlander compares to three SUVs from competing brands, including the Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, and Ford Explorer. We've found several great areas where our model comes out ahead, including:
- Hybrid option. When you love a three-row SUV for family rides in Thorndale but prefer the smooth ride and efficiency of hybrid engineering, the new Highlander has a great hybrid option that you'll love. But the Chevy Traverse and the Honda Pilot are not available as hybrid SUVs. The only one of the three models that we compared the Highlander to that does offer a hybrid is the Ford Explorer.
- Fuel economy. Even without looking at the efficiency afforded to us by the cutting-edge hybrid option, the Toyota Highlander offers better EPA fuel economy ratings with its gas-powered models than all three competing SUVs. It earns 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined, placing it better than all three other models in both combined and highway mpg.
- Passenger space. Front seat or back, the Highlander also has more room to stretch your legs than the competition. It surpasses all three in offering backseat legroom to Ephrata and Thorndale drivers, and it has more legroom in the front than the Pilot and the Traverse.
Discover all these reasons, and more, that make the Toyota Highlander the best SUV for your next set of wheels. We're conveniently located near the greater Lititz area, and we invite you to stop by and see us to meet the Highlander in person for a test drive.
